Farhan Khan, MD

CHIEF Medical officer

Farhan Khan, MD has over a decade of experience in bringing the most innovative and healing aspects of renal care to his diverse patient population. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. He graduated summa laude from UNIBE medical school and completed his dual medical residency program at the University of Illinois in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. He went on to complete his fellowship and training in Nephrology at the University of Missouri. He has obtained advanced training in Interventional Nephrology.

Dr. Khan currently serves as the Chair of Intensive Care at FHN. He is the Founder and Chief Medical Officer of RenViva, a physician-owned dialysis company that provides dialysis services to patients at home, as well as patients who are in Skilled Nursing Facilities.

Dr. Khan has a strong reputation of delivering superior care and consultation services which focus on kidney disease prevention. As a highly trained expert in his field, he diagnoses and treats ailments such as diabetic nephropathy, edema, hypertension, hematuria, UTI, and chronic kidney disease. Most recently, he is involved in an integrative approach to treating patients by collaborating nephrology and cardiology services to patients across the spectrum with the formation of CardioRenal Therapeautics, LLC.

Sandra Fritzsch, RN/JD

FOUNDING PARTNER

Sandra Fritzsch brings more than 40 years of Dialysis experience to RenPro. She is licensed as both an attorney and Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio and has managed a Dialysis Development consulting firm since 2005, as well as participating in the development of more than 160 dialysis facilities within multiple renal business models.

Sandra has worked as the VP of Facility/Business Development for multiple organizations; FMC, Renal Ventures Management, Wellbound, Everest Healthcare and Home Dialysis of America, Sandra has authored RenPro’s corporate Policy and Procedures for the management of a dialysis facility and chairs the Corporate Compliance Program.

Sam Tsamoulos

CHIEF financial OFFICER

Sam Tsamoulos has over 10 years of experience in managing and executing financial plans in the healthcare industry.  After graduating from DePaul University and obtaining his CPA, Sam joined PricewaterhouseCoopers where he held a number of healthcare clients.  Sam then moved on to serve as the Controller and Director of Operations at a large midwestern clinical reference laboratory before joining RenPro as the CFO.

Sam oversees all finance functions of RenPro that include revenue cycle, financial reporting, treasury management, and financial analyses. He is responsible for guiding the financial strategies and setting the financial priorities of RenPro and accomplishes this through a data driven approach.

When Sam isn’t relishing in his favorite Excel spreadsheet, he enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, and is an avid Chicago Bears fan.

Michael Conran

Vice President of Business Development

Michael has over 10 years of combined business and medical experience. Michael began his career working within Equity Analysis for Marco Consulting Group. After spending over 5 years within the financial industry, he followed his passion into healthcare. He attended Arcadia University, completing his Masters in Medical Science – Physician Assistant studies. Michael became a Physician Assistant and worked at Advocate Christ Medical Center within the Cardiac ICU focusing on heart failure and heart, lung, and renal transplant. He transitioned over to Advocate Illinois Masonic to work within Vascular Surgery, focusing on vascular access.

Michael focuses on development of new partnerships, construction of new facilities, and maintaining relationships within our current teams. Michael’s background allows him to understand both the clinical and business needs of our partners.
